Can I put my home up for sale during my divorce?

Why you are better off selling your house after your divorce.

The answer is usually no. Generally speaking, unless otherwise agreed to by yourself and your future ex spouse, your marital home may not be listed for sale during the divorce. In the Tampa Bay area, upon filing for divorce, a Standing Temporary Order is typically entered that will preclude you from disposing many of your assets, including your home.
